Main Purpose of Role: 

Responsibility for the developing and implementation of marketing and recruitment strategies in target countries/regions in order to support UKEC International wide student recruitment objectives.Building and maintaining relationships with external channel partners in the UK and other countries.

 You will ideally have a background in international student recruitment, or international education, and you will have experience of working with overseas partners. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, results driven and self-motivated, and have demonstrable cross-cultural awareness.

 

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Manage the delivery of recruitment activity in order to meet recruitment targets.
  • Field researching student markets, analysing client needs and coordinating recruitment activities in the designated regions;
  • Identifying business development opportunities and objectives in the designated markets;
  • Generating development action plans and schedules, and organizing the implementations to support the achievement of the development objectives;
  • Maintaining sustainable business relationships with UK and Overseas channel partners.
  • Select and manage a network of effective recruitment agents. This will include setting intake targets at the start of each recruitment cycle and reviewing performance.
  • Reporting to the Regional Business Development Manager on the effectiveness and value of events attended and providing recommendations for future activities in specific markets. 
  • Keeping up to date with service standard and competitors;
  • Undertaking any other relevant duties delegated by the line manager

 

Job Requirements: 

  • A university degree in any discipline is essential;
  • Have experience in marketing, international student recruitment, international education or other relevant filed.
  • Recent experience of marketing and ability to conduct market research and analysis, plan and execute marketing strategies.
  • Effective knowledge of international qualifications frameworks.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and analytical skills.
  • Excellent language and communication skills, including ability to make effective presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills including records handing and data management, analysis and presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, delivering to tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas from time to time.
