History

  • The University of Surrey is a public research university that specialises in science, engineering, medicine and business.
  • It is located within the county town of Guildford, Surrey, in the South East of England 
  • The university has two campuses, the main campus is on Stag Hill close to the centre of Guildford and adjacent to Guildford Cathedral whilst the other is not far away at Manor Park, which has been developed to expand upon existing accommodation, academic buildings and sporting facilities.

Location and Transport

  • The University of Surrey is located on a landscaped campus on the outskirts of Guildford. London is only 34 minutes away by train and its major airports of Heathrow and Gatwick are both within easy reach giving ready access from all over the world.
