University of East London
Established as a university in 1992, University of East London is a modern university with a heritage dating back to 1898.
The ultra-modern Docklands Campus, opened in 2000, was London's first new university campus in 50 years.
UEL is equipped with the world class
(the training base of Team USA during the London 2012 Olympics) and
waterfront on-campus accommodation
(UEL is one of the very few universities in London to offer on-campus accommodation, and our accommodation is 45% below the London average cost of student accommodation)
If you're looking for a little something extra, UEL 1
year undergraduate students also receive a free Samsung tablet upon enrolment, pre-loaded with their core e-textbooks.
Location and Transport
The University has three campuses.
The Stratford Campus and the new University Square Stratford (USS) campus are located next to the Stratford International station with good links to bus routes. Also, close to the town centre and the 2012 Olympic Park.
The Docklands Campus is located on the waterside with its own DLR station, Cyprus. It was opened in 2000 and located in a stunning waterside setting alongside the historic Royal Albert Dock and close to the O2 and Canary Wharf.
There is a free shuttle bus operating between the three campuses.
