Established as a university in 1992, University of East London is a modern university with a heritage dating back to 1898. The ultra-modern Docklands Campus, opened in 2000, was London's first new university campus in 50 years.
UEL is equipped with the world class SportsDock (the training base of Team USA during the London 2012 Olympics) and waterfront on-campus accommodation (UEL is one of the very few universities in London to offer on-campus accommodation, and our accommodation is 45% below the London average cost of student accommodation)
